PRIVACY POLICY

This page explains how BoxXP+ uses your data in alignment with Apple’s App Privacy settings. It combines the official data categories required by Apple with my own plain-language descriptions.

As the sole software engineer of Box XP Plus, I intentionally collect as little data as possible, while still allowing you to sign in, save your content, and keep your account secure. If a piece of data is not needed for a feature to work, I avoid collecting it.

Data Types Collected

The following categories are declared in Apple’s App Privacy section for Box XP Plus:

Author's Note:
These categories describe high-level types of information. In practice, BoxXP+ focuses on your boxing skills, workouts, and techniques, not on building a detailed personal profile.

Contact Info

Name:

Used for app functionality and identification within your account, when available from your chosen sign-in method.

Email Address:

Used for login, account recovery, and responding to customer support messages.

Author's Note:
Your name and email are primarily handled through Supabase authentication providers such as Magic Link, Apple Sign In, and Google Sign In. I do not sell or share this information with third parties for advertising.

Health & Fitness

Fitness:

Used for other purposes related to your training experience inside the app, such as organizing skills, rounds, and routines.

Author's Note:
As of the initial release, Box XP Plus does not read detailed biometric data from HealthKit. Your training details focus on boxing techniques and mental preparation, not medical monitoring.

User Content

Customer Support:

Messages or details you share when asking for help are used only to troubleshoot issues and respond to you.

Customer Support:

Includes the custom skills, techniques, combinations, notes, and workouts you create inside Box XP Plus.

Author's Note:
Your custom content is stored in Supabase so you can access it across sessions and devices. I do not personally browse or export your routines, except where necessary to resolve a support request or investigate a technical issue.

Identifiers

User ID:

Used to tie saved data (skills, combos, workouts) to your specific account and keep it separate from other users.

Device ID

May be used by Supabase and crash/performance tools to secure sessions, detect abuse, and understand how the app performs across devices.

Author's Note:
Identifiers exist to keep your data safe and to protect the service from misuse. They are not used to track you across unrelated apps or websites.

Diagnostics

Crash Data:

Used for Other Purposes

Performance Data:

Used For App Functionality

Other Diagnostic Data:

Data Storage & Security

Box XP Plus uses Supabase as a backend service to store account information and user content. Access to this data is restricted by authentication and row-level security rules so that each user can only access their own records.

Author's Note:
I regularly review authentication and database rules to keep them aligned with best practices for small production apps and to minimize unnecessary access to user data.

Changes to this Policy

If I make significant changes to how Box XP Plus handles your data, I will update this page and the “Last Updated” date at the top. In some cases, you may also see an in-app notice summarizing the update.
